From a clinical need to a scientific vision
Jophielle was not created to sell a product — it was created to answer a real need.
As an ophthalmologist working in the field of oculoplastic surgery, Dr. Şeyda Atabay listened closely to her patients' questions about caring for the eye area. They were looking for supportive care for the look of dark circles and puffiness, for hydration and for a brighter appearance.
Believing that existing products did not meet these needs together, Dr. Atabay decided to develop a new one with her team. With academic consultation from the Ege University Faculty of Pharmacy, Department of Cosmetology, work began in 2017 in a 25-square-metre laboratory at the Ege University Technopark.

The Light of the Angel Within
The name was inspired by "light filling", a concept from periorbital aesthetics, and by the idea of an angel of light. To us, Jophielle means the light of the angel within each of us: not becoming someone else, but protecting your natural self and discovering your own light.
Our own standards
External manufacturers were considered for the first products, but the special requirements of the formulas led to an important decision: "Then let us produce our own products and set our own standards." In 2020 we founded our own production centre; in 2026 we moved to our new facility, certified to ISO 22716 GMP, ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.
